Make it yours
You'll spend a lot of time reading in Manwe, so it should read the way you like. Settings › Appearance changes the look, the type and the window, and every change shows at once.
Look
ModeMatch Mac follows your Mac's light or dark setting; Light and Dark stay put.
ThemeEight complete looks, each with a light and a dark version: Manwe, Graphite, Paper, Varda, Taniquetil, Forest, Ember and Riso. Each card shows a small preview of the window.
AccentKeep the theme's own colour or pick another. Buttons, selections and the first colour in charts follow it, so charts and interactive answers belong to your theme too.
Window transparencyLets your desktop show softly through the window. The slider sets how much. The composer becomes frosted glass and the conversation fades out above it, so text stays readable. If Reduce transparency is on in your Mac's Accessibility settings, the window stays solid.
Type
InterfaceThe font for menus, the sidebar and controls.
ReadingThe font for answers. It can follow the interface font or be any font installed on your Mac; each one is listed in its own lettering so you can see it before you pick.
CodeThe font for code and other fixed-width text.
Text sizeFour steps, from compact to large, applied across the app.
The preview under the fonts shows an answer in your choices, with a line of code.
Advisors
Printed texture gives advisor glyphs a fine, printed grain. Turn it off for flat colour.
Nothing to lose. Reset to default at the bottom puts everything back to the Manwe theme. Your choices never change your conversations, memory or saved work.
